I don't support gay law and have restated it over and over again, it's a bill that opposes our Constitution which is the ground norm of a nation, I believe gay individuals be left alone. Let them answer to God. I know a different school of thought would affirm the law as a good one citing African culture just as our lawmakers cited, and this view takes me to this point...why don't our lawmakers and those who seek power be sent to Amadioha Shrine or Sango Shrine or any small god they have in their village to swear before they sit on throne? That's African traditional culture path!
Straight individuals are not free from the gay law as well.....not at all! Have you read the gay bill? I guess many of you haven't! What you know of the law is the bits and pieces re-echoed from media sources, street gist, church gossips, the rusty fly rumours gullible Nigerians would take hook and sink. Of course you could be set up and God help you....pray not to have the jungle punishment from street urchins.
NIGERIA: It seems many Nigerians are in support of the anti-gay law signed by President Goodluck Jonathan, as two gay men were nabbed in Portharcourt and forced to have s*x with each other in the public glare.
A new report on GayStarNews, The two men were forced from their home and made to self service and have an*l s*x in front of an angry mob on the 28th of January, 2014.
The alleged couple were said to be homosexual. The crowd who took laws into their hands, forced them to leave the house and made them ‘re-enact’ the ‘homosexual acts’ they allegedly were carrying out in private while the crowd filmed them. Then the footage was shared on social media.
While vigilantes were jeering as the large crowd of onlookers watched the men’s humiliation.
May God help these gayism.
