Darey’s Concert Gets Etisalat Backing

As 15 February date of R&B singer Darey Art Alade’s Valent’s gig, Love Like A Movie2 draws closer, Etisalat Nigeria is poised to connect with and excite its customers with its sponsorship of the concert holding at the Ocean View grounds, Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

Enitan Denloye, Director Brands and Communication, Etisalat Nigeria, speaking on the brand’s stand as a proud purveyor of quality music content, said the concert is targeted at young people.

“Music is one of the universal languages of mankind. Etisalat’s sponsorship of Love like a Movie 2 is our way of engaging our teemed customers and connecting with them,” Denloye said.

Riding on the success of last season’s concert, which starred Kim Kardashian, Nigerian R&B star and host of the concert, Darey will be performing alongside international superstar Kelly Rowland and other renowned acts.

Pushing its previous success boundaries, the concert this year promises an array of acrobatics, choreography, 3D mapping, technology, nature and theatrical acts, sure to entertain its audience with an emotionally thrilling story of soulful love.

10 Burnt To Death In Lagos Tanker Fire

No fewer than 10 people were roasted as a tanker laden with petrol went up in flames yesterday at Berger Suya junction, Apapa, Lagos. Also, several buildings, eight vehicles, and over 200 locked-up shops including a commercial bank in the area were razed. The fire which started at about 10:30pm on Tuesday and raged till 3:00am yesterday was said to have been caused by a tanker laden with 33,000 liters of petrol which lost control as it was about to negotiate a sharp bend and exploded close to Suya spots in the area.
