Nigerian Pilgrims Refuse To Say “Amen” To Pastor Oritsejafor’s Prayers For Stella Oduah At River Jordan

 
Choi!  Not only the common man is angry over the car scandal surrounding the Minister Of Aviation,Mrs Oduah, even those at the top are not happy with her, Yea right! It is rather funny because most, if not all are corrupt, the only difference is Mrs Oduah's issue is out in the public, while theirs are covered and not known to the public. A case of pot calling kettle black.
 
it was a dramatic at the  River Jordan when the Nigerian delegation in Israel led by President Jonathan went there yesterday to offer prayers , led by the notoriously partisan President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ayo Oritsejafor. Read story below as reported by Sahara Reporters.
 
After praying for President Jonathan and several dignitaries at the venue, Mr. Oritsejafor then specifically prayed for Mrs. Oduah, but to his surprise several people in the gathering refused to say “Amen” to his prayer, stunning the CAN president and Mr. Jonathan. Several people then exchanged glances and moved on.
 
If President Jonathan thought the controversy about the BMW car scam would quickly away, he is mistaken, as calls for the prosecution of the Minister grew louder over the weekend as it emerged that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the agency arm-twisted to purchase the cars, cannot physically locate them.
 
Also today, the Abuja–based online news platform, PREMIUM TIMES, reported that the office of the National Security Adviser has said that neither the Minister nor the NCAA applied for, or received the mandatory “end user certificate” for the cars. Similarly, several sources at the Federal Road Safety Corps have told SaharaReporters that the agency never presented the cars for licensing.

10 Burnt To Death In Lagos Tanker Fire

      No fewer than 10 people were roasted as a tanker laden with petrol went up in flames yesterday at Berger Suya junction, Apapa, Lagos.   Also, several buildings, eight vehicles, and over 200 locked-up shops including a commercial bank in the area were razed.   The fire which started at about 10:30pm on Tuesday and raged till 3:00am yesterday was said to have been caused by a tanker laden with 33,000 liters of petrol which lost control as it was about to negotiate a sharp bend and exploded close to Suya spots in the area.   Several passengers in two commercial buses, by-standers, two Hausa suya vendors including the driver of the truck and the conductor were burnt beyound recognition as rescue workers were seen picking bones of parts of human beings into body bag.     Source: Vanguard

Mikel Obi Deserves This Award Says Yaya Toure And Highlights From The GLO-CAF Awards

It's a third straight African Footballer of the year award win for Manchester City star and 31-year-old Ivory Coast international  Yaya Toure.
