Funny! 4 Men Get 10-Year Jail Term, 2000 Lashes For Public Dancing

 
We Nigerians can travel and practically live in any part of the world with better means of livelihood, moreover we love social activities. If you are thinking of travelling to Saudi Arabia or in Saudi Arabia, you better be careful when you have your dancing shoes, make sure you are fully clothed and don't even think of going provocative, if you have to...think 10 years in prison and 2,000 lashes. Choi!! Fear gree you. lol!
 
Saudi media, Al-Sharq newspaper reports that a court in Buraydah, Qassim’s provincial capital, sentenced one defendant to 10 years in prison and 2,000 lashes, and another to seven years in prison and 1,200 lashes, Al-Sharq newspaper reported in what media have dubbed the “naked dancing” case. In a video posted on YouTube, several men appear dancing atop a vehicle in the ultra-conservative province of Qassim.  

Their two companions were jailed for three years and sentenced to 500 lashes each, the four were charged with “dancing on a vehicle in public and posting a video online, encouraging vice, defying norms of the society and violating public morals,” according to Al-Sharq, two of them were identified as security officials.
 
Saudi Arabia applies a strict version of Islamic shariah law that imposes many social restrictions and bans public entertainment.

A 22-year-old man, Yusuf Hassan, has been apprehended for chopping off the hand of his friend, Abubakar Umar, with a machete, during a fight over one Habiba, on Wednesday, in Dakwa, Abuja. Dailytrust quoted Umar as saying Habiba had relocated with her parents from Kaduna, some months ago, and that before they could get a room to rent, he gave his room to them as a temporary shelter and relocated to his friend’s room. “My friend, Yusuf, started developing interest in the lady.
