Effect Of Cecil's Death: One of Cecil the Lion’s Cubs Killed by Another Lion, Other Cubs Don’t Stand a Chance
Cecil the Lion’s cubs are in danger, while Cecil's poacher and killer, Walter J. Palmer is free and safe.
Cecil, was poached and beheaded by an American dentist last month, Cecil and his brother Jericho protected his cubs and the pride’s lioness. Cecil death raised fear that the cubs would be in danger and unprotected from other lions, indeed it is so...as one of the cubs was killed by another lion in a Zimbabwe national park.
Cecil was the leader of his pride, made up of three lionesses and eight cubs, at the time of his slaying by Dr. Walter Palmer in July. After Cecil was killed by Minnesota dentist Walter J. Palmer, Zimbabwe banned big game hunting but news about says the Zimbabwe Professional Hunters and Guides Association struck a deal with Zimbabwe national leaders to lift the ban imposed after Cecil was killed.
