Northern Youths Threatens to Disown Al-Mustapha, The Former Chief Security Officer To Late Head Of State, Sani Abacha
A coalition of youths from the Northern region, under the aegis of the Northern Youth Revival Movement (NYRM), comprising the Northern Youth Interactive Forum (represented by its Strategy and Planning Officer, Alhaji Kabiru Bako), the Youth Coalition Movement (represented by Alhaji Haruna Sparrom) and the Northern Youth Revival Movement, represented by Comrade Ahmed Tahir on Friday threatened to disown al-Mustapha, the former Chief Security Officer to the former Head of State over his purported romance with Asari-Dokubo, as such friendship was capable of denying the North the chance to produce the president come 2015 as they are convinced he would use his influence in the North to rally political support for Jonathan if he secures PDP's ticket to contest the 2015 presidency.
You all know Dokubo-Asari hates the idea of power moving to the North, he has not hidden his disdain for any political arrangement that would return presidential power to the North in 2015, and al-Mustapha’s association with the ex-militant is seen by politicians and northern youth as a ploy to scuttle the North’s chance of wresting power from President Goodluck Jonathan in the next general election.
Na wa o, na wa for this politicians and this so called youth movement. The president can come from any region, the most important thing is a leader who is ready to serve the people and has a blueprint of what he intends to do to move the nation forward.
...And in all honesty, has jonathan justified being the President of this country?
