                                      NIGERIA: The Enugu State Police Command has arrested a native doctor, Theophilus Attama, from Umuopu Umueze in Igboeze North Local Government Area for encouraging kidnapping and armed robbery.   Attama, also known as ‘Ejeje’, was nabbed on the Christmas day by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, following the confessions of one Paschal Onah alias Achisa, a member of a kidnap gang.   A statement from the command’s spokesman, Mr Ebere Amaraizu, on Friday said Attama was among the native doctors implicated because of their role in crime perpetration and connivance.   The statement said Onah was arrested for his role in the kidnap of Madam Adiza Ogbo, her subsequent death and her quick burial in his residence in a shallow grave after about one week of her abduction.   The suspect allegedly collected N300,000 from late Adiza Ogbo’s sons and relations to set her free from their net which was la

INDONESIA : Report according to Cable Network News , a python has killed a security guard near a luxury hotel in Bali, Indonesia.   A doctor told CNN that a man’s corpse was brought to the RSUP Sanglah Denpasar Hospital in Bali on Friday. A large snake appears to have suffocated the man, said the doctor, who did not wish to be identified.   The body has been released to the family, the doctor said.   The python remains on the loose after strangling the guard, who was trying to capture the large snake, according to Agence France-Presse.   Another security guard, at the Bali Hyatt, saw the attack, which took place “on the roadway outside of the hotel’s property,” Jamie Zimmerman Rothfeld, a spokeswoman for the Bali Hyatt, told CNN.   “The management team and hotel associates of Bali Hyatt express their sincere condolences to the family of the victim of the python attack,” she said.   Rothfeld declined further comment, saying the hotel is under renovation and

Marketing communications guru, Mr. Sesan Ogunro Snr., has been shot dead.   Ogunro, the Managing Director, of Nigeria’s Eminent Communications, was shot yesterday night at Alausa Central Business District, Lagos, western Nigeria by unidentified gunmen in front of his wife, children and grandchildren.   A source told  P.M.NEWS  this morning that Ogunro was coming from a special Christmas service programme which he chaired when the gunmen stopped his car and demanded for the keys. Though he didn’t resist their order, yet one of the assailants shot him.
