Chris Martin Believes Gwyneth Paltrow Is Spreading False Cheating Rumors To Gain Lump Sum Settlement
They wanted a nice, clean divorce and even asked fans and concerned close friends to respect their privacy but with the cheating rumours flying in the air, it's going to be a messy divorce suit.
According to Radar Online:
It may have been a “conscious uncoupling,” but the split between Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin is getting sloppy!
According to an insider, Martin, 37, fears his ex is spreading vicious cheating rumors about him so he will appear “less sympathetic” and Paltrow, 41, plans to take the Coldplay frontman to the cleaners when it comes to squeezing spousal support from him, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Together, Paltrow and Martin are worth a mind-blowing $280 million — but the source says the GOOP founder could take Martin for an extra $25 million!
“Gwyneth believes she deserves a settlement of at least a lump sum of $25 million from Chris because he is the breadwinner and their kids will live with her most of the time,” the source said.
“She believes Chris should ‘man up’ and do the chivalrous thing. Friends are bracing for an ugly divorce showdown.”
Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow 41, and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 37, have two young children, Apple, nine, and Moses, seven. They reportedly met backstage at a Coldplay concert in late 2002 after the singer asked an assistant to arrange a meeting with the actress and the following year, the couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in California soon after announcing they were expecting their first child together.
On March 26th, 2014 they announced their separation in a statement entitled "Conscious Uncoupling" posted on Paltrow's lifestyle website Goop.com signalling the end of the A-list couple's 11-year marriage. The stars said they had decided to "remain separate" after battling unsuccessfully to save their marriage over the past year.
